About Me

Well, I have no other idea on how I can create a higher level of communication but only this way – blogging my thoughts. It is because I believe that LOVE is sharing and sharing is communication. I want to go about concentrating on improving my writing skills at the same time improving my relationship to the world and deepening our friendship.  I will learn not to get upset over differences in belief and perspective in life. I just wanted to communicate and use English as the tool of communication.

In fact, everything has started from my inspiration to solve my teaching or learning problems in English – I REALLY love English and I love to touch people’s lives. And so, I’m  here with my heavy Reflection on My Experiences, from research in English and readings from Journals to my own thoughts or helpful opinions. I also write about the problems I met in my teaching and how I overcome them. Becoming a reflective English Teacher  makes me want to solve and overcome these problems in the future. ( I never stop until I found the answers to my questions).

I believe that secret of staying in love in this kind of profession is to keep sharing to help others in solving their problems too,  to keep living out one’s commitment (my commitment to self-growth and teaching craft). I can assure you that I can give the same commitment to helping you in your teaching loads of work, passing your English qualifying exam or simply your listener whom you can talk to in English . All just I need in return are your three As – acceptance, admiration, and affection of who I am as your online teacher.(John Powell SJ; 1974.

Speaking of sharing, I would love to share a glimpse of myself with you because we are FRIENDS.

I’m teacher Cel who agrees with Zac Poonen as he said that many are called, but few are chosen, but fewer still are faithful. The same faith which, I believe that an English Teacher should possess the same faithfulness to his job, not taking it only as commission, but a lifetime mission. I have carried that faith since I have started working in 2008 as a classroom teacher for 5 years and online ESL tutor for 2 years. Throughout my public service career, my greatest achievement is to lead.I took every challenge and responsibility at work because that’s my only way to learn and improve my skills. Because I am a person who is willing to give everything to accomplish my goal, I got what skills I want to have and what I want to become:

* Communication skills include active listening & Speaking skills (educating, coaching & Mentoring)

* Action Planning skills ( Effective Scheduling & Time Management)

* ICT Skills includes Data Entry/Typing, Researching around websites, Promotion Strategy using social media, ICT integration in Tracking Progress or lesson, sending E-mail or communication, Daily Documentation using Microsoft Word, Excel/ PowerPoint presentation.
If you think I can be your personal tutor, teaching assistant (virtual or not) or your substitute teacher, mentor, coach or simply as your English Teacher of your school, just feel free to view my professional portfolio and CV (protected) or interview me on skype, maricelmar1. Say hello and send me your company email to any of my social links below and I will keep in touch with you and send the passcode to view my CV online. Thank you so much.
