As according to John 8: 32 said you shall know the truth and the truth will make you free. Truthfulness Journalism had covered over 20 years of Techo Student Press. It evolved and survived in promoting the truth, freedom, and democracy. This continues to be part of Cebu Institute of Technology Legacy.
As we bring you this afternoon the theme,” Techno @20 your paper, our legacy”, the student press has helped us to find the truth behind the obscurity and we feel free to express ourselves. Their love of the craft make us to believe on the truth they have exposed.
They possessed the tenets of journalism which has honesty, fairness, independent and respect other people’s rights. They are bringing the important vehicle of moral values of the institution through their circulation.
This is more than a state of mind and responsibility in finding out how to communicate accurately with reliable information. Through this event, it builds up the idea of enhancement and encouragement for us to be confident in the communication and soft skills.
This progress has tremendous advantage for all of us. Let us protect our papers legacy. So, let us speak the truth with love in the name of journalism.
